Frigg

Frigg was my first “official” rescue. My first rescue under the 501c3. We got her out of Bowie kill pen in Texas. She was incredibly sick and heavily bred with a shattered pelvis on one side. We had her sent to the hospital where they told me to euthanize her, she wouldn’t make it through foaling. But I didn’t think that was giving her a fair chance. So I called my vet and they told me there was a high chance she wouldn’t get up after foaling or we would have to euthanize during foaling. That was enough for me. So  we quarantined her in Texas and had her shipped up 30 days later. Two days after getting here she had a huge colt that resembled her in many ways. Baldr was her son and he was quite the handful. She got up after foaling and gave us all a run for our money and raised her colt until weaning. We then let her go in peace as her pain became to much

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more.
